The Conscious Edit - August 2025

Welcome to this month’s Conscious Edit, where I highlight stylish finds, experiences and investment pieces designed to lighten your footprint while making a positive impact on both the planet and your wardrobe…

Witnessing the brutal and relentless attacks on the innocent civilian population of Gaza over the past two years has led me to consistently use my voice to amplify Palestinian stories and raise awareness of the ongoing man-made humanitarian crisis - which now finds itself suffering a Stage 5 Famine, as a direct result of months of bombardment and aid access restriction. Many of you have reached out asking how you can offer meaningful support... So, this month’s edit is dedicated to just that.

Alongside fashion and accessories by Palestinian designers, I’ve included everyday essentials like olive oil and handmade soap, a restaurant that celebrates Palestinian food and community - and their beautiful recipe book to bring the flavours of Palestine into your own kitchen. I’ve also highlighted ways to contribute through purchases that support well-known charities with projects on the ground, as well as a concert in aid of Choose Love, where music becomes a way of coming together in solidarity.

Every recommendation here is more than just a product or an event - it’s an opportunity to preserve heritage, sustain livelihoods, and directly support communities in desperate need.

Please sign Save The Children’s petition demanding Kier Starmer take urgent action to protect Palestinian children in Gaza and the West Bank. Without an immediate ceasefire and full humanitarian access, famine will spread, and more innocent lives will be lost.

The Conscious Edit - July 2025

Welcome to this month’s Conscious Edit, where I highlight stylish finds, experiences and investment pieces designed to lighten your footprint while making a positive impact on both the planet and your wardrobe…

And this month I’m sharing something a little special… My latest collaboration, a 16-piece capsule collection with Sensi Studio - a vibrant tribute to ethical craftsmanship, sustainable design, and the enduring strength of women. Handwoven by master female artisans in Ecuador, the collection features 100% Ecuadorian toquilla straw hats, bags, and accessories. Each piece supports traditional craftsmanship and sustains a community of artisans whose skills have been passed down through generations.

Inspired by women leading the charge in sustainability and conscious living, the designs pay homage to trailblazers including Aja Barber (whose tireless advocacy for ethical fashion and responsible consumerism has reshaped the industry), Jasmine Hemsley (whose holistic approach to wellness and mindful living serves as an inspiration for slow, intentional style, and Rene MacDonald (the creative force behind Lisou London, a brand renowned for its vibrant prints and commitment to sustainability.) Other influences on the collection include Zeena Shah’s joyful passion for colour, Alexis Foreman’s effortlessly minimalist aesthetic, and Fiona Leahy’s exquisite eye for design and detail, which all bring depth and personality to the pieces they inspired.

At the heart of this collaboration are also some deeply personal family tributes - the Billy Bag and Jake Hat, are named in honour of my sister and mother, both lifelong sources of creativity and inspiration, with other designs named after my niece Willow, and goddaughters Olive, Margot and Piper.

Adding further depth to the collection, many pieces feature vibrant charms crafted from tagua, known as “vegetable ivory” - a sustainable, cruelty-free alternative to elephant ivory. This detail holds personal significance for me, being passionate about wildlife conservation and an anti trophy-hunting advocate. My previous ‘Buy to Give’ fashion partnerships have raised over £75,000 for conservation initiatives across Kenya.

This collaboration is a love letter to traditional craft, conscious design, and the women shaping our world with purpose. Fashion has the power to tell stories and drive change - and with this collection, every thread speaks to that mission.

The Kelly Eastwood x Sensi Studio limited-edtion collection embodies a shared commitment to sustainable luxury and global connection. It is available now exclusively via Sensi Studio.
