HAWT: Natalie Portman in Rodarte

Hawt = A late 1940's and early 1950's acronym for "Having A Wonderful Time."
Now the word is used on the internet as slang for something reeeeally hot.

Natalie Portman made a serious fashuuuun statement whilst promoting her feature directorial debut, ‘A Tale of Love and Darkness,’ in Cannes last week. Wearing a dare-to-bare Rodarte dress from their Fall 2015 to her photo call, no one’s eyes could be diverted. With intricate beading, floral sequins, a feather trimmed bodice and a see-through skirt, this was certainly a cheekier and more risqué look than we are used to seeing the actress wear.  HAWT!!

HAWT: Cate Blanchett in Valentino

There surely needs to be a new word created in honour of Cate Blanchett.  An aspirational word named after this consummate red-carpet professional, who manages without fail, to nail EVERY event she attends EVERY time!!  Cate Blanchett, looked stellar (or some might say, "looked so Blanchett!") in Pre Fall 2014 Valentino, at the Chopard event she attended at Cannes last week.  The statuesque actress’ dramatic gown, in fifty shades of grey, had cap sleeves and beautifully intricate silver leaf details. The result was nothing short of regal...  Nothing short of Blanchett

HAWT: Sienna Miller in Burberry

Actress Sienna Miller looked HAWT last week at the opening night of the new Broadway play ‘Orphans’ (starring her beau Tom Sturridge).  The yummy mummy wore a classic belted Burberry trench coat whilst wearing her heart on her sleeve with the Burberry Prorsum Heart Print Calfskin Drawcord Bag as she posed for photographers in NYC.  The outfit subsequently caused speculation that the gorgeous couple have been hired as the British brand’s A/W’13 faces… I would heart that.

HAWT: Rihanna in Azzedine Alaia at The Grammys

The 2013 Grammy Award for Best Dressed on the night, without a shadow of a doubt, went to Rhianna! How incredibly glamourous did she look in this beautiful custom-made Azzedine Alaia dress, accessorised with Neil Lane jewelery, Manolo Blahnik heels and a bright red pout? Dazzling and show-stopping. A red HAWT Valentine’s Day tribute.

HAWT: Michelle Obama in Jason Wu

Hawt = A late 1940's and early 1950's acronym for "Having A Wonderful Time."

After putting 26 year old Jason Wu firmly on the fashion map at the 2009, Michelle Obama once again turned to the same designer to create her striking red, velvet and chiffon gown, at last weekend’s Inaugural Ball. The sleeveless dress highlighted Michelle’s famously toned arms, and she accessorized with Jimmy Choo high heels. The First Lady looked HAWT. Everyone wolfwhistle: Twit-Wu!

HAWT: Alexa Chung in Valentino

Hawt = A late 1940's and early 1950's acronym for "Having A Wonderful Time."
Now the word is used on the internet as slang for something reeeeally hot.

When British DJ/Presenter Alexa Chung attended the ‘Valentino: Master of Couture’ tribute at the Miu Miu pop-up club in London last week she wore a 1950’s-style Valentino Resort 2013 green satin dress with a cream lace overlay top and black bow belt.  Accessorising her outfit with an Anya Hindmarch handbag and a pair of simple black patent Valentino Mary Jane shoes, Alexa looked both lady like and HAWT.  This girl just never gets it wrong.

HAWT: Cheryl Cole in Victoria Beckham

Last night Cheryl Cole attended the film premiere of ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting,’ at the London BFI IMAX cinema, wearing a floor length Victoria Beckham SS’12 dress

With rose gold jewellery by Garrard and an elegant satin Sergio Rossi clutch, Cheryl effortlessly channelled two of this season’s "major" (to quote VB!) trends – sports-luxe and pretty, feminine pleats.

The singer looked stunning in the two-tone, drop waisted dress – the perfect red carpet outfit to celebrate her first movie cameo and this year’s first day of sunshine in the capital.
