Iris at Annabel's

Last month I attended the Curzon Mayfair for a private screening of Iris, the much anticipated Albert Maysles documentary about Iris Apfel, the self-christened ‘nonagenarian It-girl.’  After watching the film amongst an audience of well dressed, over accessorised fashionistas (in honour of the ‘more is more’ starlet herself, naturally!) we all headed to the ever-fabulous Annabel’s, the iconic member's club, for dinner.

Above:  Iris Apfel attended the dinner, welcoming us all warmly, wearing a bright orange faux-fur coat, copious Nancy Cunard bangles and her signature, magnified Edna Mode glasses.

Above:  Let loose with the polaroid camera!  With journalist Amy E Williams, fashion blogger Ella Catliff and House of Hackney founders Frieda Gormley and Javvy M Royle.

My highlights included meeting Charlotte Dellal (above, I could be one of the biggest Charlotte Olympia fans around), being treated to the restaurant's reknown Bitter Chocolate Ice Cream (Oh. My. Sweet. Lord...) and managing to perfectly match my Matthew Williamson outfit and Miu Miu heels with the carpet and doors at Annabel’s…. Next level coordination commitment!  Excessive fun all round - just like Iris loves.

Charlotte Olympia's Incy Collection

Charlotte Olympia, my FAVOURITE shoe designer of all time, has shrunk her favourite six pretty and playful flats, (including the Kitty Flats, leftloved by Alexa Chung) to fit the luckiest of little girls... I've never wanted smaller feet more.  The collection, called Incy, takes inspiration from the 'Incy Wincy Spider' nursery rhyme.

"I always thought I'd design little shoes for little people as soon as I had a girl" said designer Charlotte Dellal,"however, with two boys now and a third child on the way - I decided to finally launch 'Incy' regardless. Maybe I'll have a girl this time!"
