La Martina Catwalk Show at Guards Polo Club

An afternoon of fashion, polo, champagne and macaroons?... Yes, Yes, Yes and Yes Please. Arriving at Guards Polo Club in my swankypants black Mercedes Uber car (left), I recently sat FROW at the exclusive preview of La Martina’s SS’13 collection. The well known Argentinean label is relied heavily upon for supplying polo-players with the very best of sportswear, but this show also included an array of ‘après chukka’ leisurewear for both men and women.  The show was followed with a polo match, bubbles and afternoon tea. Perfect.

Miranda Kerr's Summer Style

Aussie supermodel and 'yummy mummy' Miranda Kerr is loving the New York summer and I am LOVING her polished off-duty street style.

Strolling through Manhattan last week (above) with her Balmain tote, Miranda looked gorgeous wearing a long printed shirt-dress, a classic panama hat, gold flats, and the same Miu Miu Hexagonal-frame sunglasses I have been lusting after (available at net-a-porter, £190).

The following day Miranda was photographed (below, with adorable Flynn) mixing a printed Topshop skirt with an Isabel Marant vest top, a patent raspberry coloured Louis Vuitton handbag, nude Alexander Wang block-heeled sandals and MORE Miu Miu sunglasses.

Kim Sears' Ace Style at Wimbledon

Whilst her boyfriend Andy Murray beat Novak Djokovic to become the first Brit to win the Wimbledon Men’s Final in seventy-seven years, Kim Sears also secured a clear win in the style stakes on Sunday afternoon.

Filling the K-Middy void, K-Sears (above) looked groomed and glossy (that hair!) wearing a pale-mint crochet sleeved SS’13 Victoria for Victoria Beckham dress, Aldo wedges, Pandora jewellery and Raybans whilst carrying a Mulberry Willow handbag.  Put a ring on the Kim and Murry her Andy, we love her.

It was also rather hard to not notice Victoria Beckhamspicing up our lives during the Wimbledon Men’s Final(below), wearing a particularly skimpy lace-trimmed, lingerie-inspired Louis Vuitton’s AW’13 dress.  There is no doubting that this dress was not particularly weather or event appropriate but when have silly little details like that ever interfered with VB’s outfit choices?!

Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge for Burberry

worst kept secret in the fashion industry is finally out… Actors Sienna Millerand Tom Sturridge are the (hot) new faces of theBurberry AW’13 campaign. After spending the last few months both pretty much exclusively adorned in theirBurberry best the new parents officially share a ‘Trench Kiss,’ shooting together for their first time.

Sharing some romantic kisses for Mario Testino’s lens,Christopher Bailey reflected,“this was a shoot full of love and laughter.”  The flirty video campaign’s soundtrack (below) is provided by a specially created version of rising British star Tom Odell’s ‘Hold Me.’   Kissy Kissy.

HAWT: Alexa Chung in Chanel

Hawt = A late 1940's and early 1950's acronym for "Having A Wonderful Time."
Now the word is used on the internet as slang for something reeeeally hot.

Ooh La Lexa… This week Alexa Chung left a muddy Glastonbury for a beautiful Paris to attend the Chanel Haute Couture Autumn/Winter’13 show at the Grand Palais.  The presenter/DJ looked très chic in a midnight blue velvet mini-dress with black lace Victoriana style high neckline and delicate sleeves.   Black and navy is my favourite colour combination, one Alexa regularly wears on the front row, this time completing her stylish look with a small classic Chanelshoulder bag and a pair of triple buckled black Mary-Janes (which would look hideously unflattering and terribly un-HAWT on anyone else aside from Alexa!)

Wimbledon 2013

I was lucky enough to spend this year's first HOT day in London at Wimbledon, wearing my Current Elliot pale blue leopard print jeans and white Zara shirt, watching tennis matches from Court 1 and from Henman Hill/Murray Mound.  Whether you are a serious tennis aficionado or you just enjoy an afternoon of Pimms and strawberries with cream (I fall somewhere in between!) then I really encourage you to embrace the Murray Mania...

Wimbledon Tennis Championships (Mon June 24th – Sun Jul 7th):

If you have missed out on tickets fear not… You can queue EARLY in the morning at Gate 3 for a chance to grab one of the 500 tickets available each day for Court 1 and 2 or one of the several thousand grounds tickets.  The late entry queue opens at 5pm daily where you can also pay reasonable rates for the seats of spectators who have left the venue early.  Alternatively, there are plenty of atmospheric places around the capital which show live screenings (I recommend
The Bluebird in Chelsea for Pimms on tap and BBQs) or if you want no distractions, the tennis will also be streamed live on BBC 1 and BBC 2.

Cara Delevingne for Mulberry AW'13

From the moment Mulberry’s creative director Emma Hill sawCara Delevigne at the close of the the Mulberry London Fashion Weekshow earlier this year, she was adamant that owlny the young, striking model star in the brand’s A/W’13 campaign. “Cara was the first name in my mind for this season,” Emma said, “she's beautiful, bold and British."

Photographed by Tim Walker in the fairytale Shotover House in Oxfordshire, Cara posed with several owls and several hot new bags including the Willow and brand new Primrose.  All very British and all very cool.

Noble Macmillan

Noble Macmillan, tucked away on the sweetly cobbled Elvaston Mews, are well known for creating presents that are as genuinely unique as the shop itself.  Originally a 19th Century stable, and then a 1970’s garage, the shop has amazingly kept its beautiful original floor bricks, and given its distance from any highstreet, you feel like you are entering a secret, quintessentially British, treasure trove.

Walking through the doors I was met with the sight and smell of a myriad of colourful hand crafted leather goods and accessories. A rainbow of albums, diaries, visitor’s books, jewellery rolls, photo frames and backgammon sets, all of which can be personalised, are displayed.

Having struggled to find anything suitably stylish for my mini-iPad, I was particularly thrilled to see Noble Macmillan's brightly coloured collection of cases, and I adored their chic travel wallets.  This shop is perfect if you are looking for a classic one-of-a-kind present, especially for a friend’s wedding or notable birthday... or y'know, MY birthday ;)

Noble Macmillan have recently announced Otis Ferry as their Brand Ambassador,  having collaborated with the brand on a selection of journals which will be launched later this year.  Henry Samuelson, Managing Director of the leather accessories brand, says, "Otis represents the classic British Gentleman, whose passion for the British countryside combined with his urban edge fits perfectly with our brand."

I was lucky enough to have been sent this GORGEOUS Noble Macmillan leather notebook(below) in ‘Orange Tangerine’ with ‘Ibiza Pink’ embossing for all my summer scribbles!...

Thank you NM - I love it! xx

Trooping The Colour

The Duchess of Cambridge wore pale pink Alexander McQueen to Saturday's Trooping The Colour, a spectacular display of pageantry dating back to the eighteenth century, in what is expected to be her last official public engagement before she gives birth next month.  More than 1000 soldiers, horses and musicians took part in the annual parade which marks The Queen's official birthday.  The Royal family later gathered on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch a fantastically loud and proud aerial display by the RAF Red Arrows (left).
